Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

Instead of buying 226g of frozen American Buffalo sirloin meat 980yen/100g at Kinokuni-ya. I found a better deal spending same amount of money on 10 year old balsamic vinegar from Modena by Antiqua. Regular price is 2800yen, but it was 2200yen, almost 30% discount!!

The empty one from '90, I paid $11 at the very best gourmet supermarket in Austin, TX a couple years ago. It was wonderful for salad dressing, grilled veggie, grilled anything, and strawberries!
New one that Italian label on it "Aceto Balsamico di Modena", doesn't say the year produced, says only "Prima Selezione". Expire date is DEC 2006.
Japanese label says, in the last 10 years Antiqua has moved from using Chestnut to Oak to Sycamine in their barrels.
Well, I know that it is not the most expensive balsamic vinegar in the world. But it gives your dishes a very special flavor and makes feel you rich. It costs as much as a good bottle of wine, but lasts longer!
